As politicians and others spin the mass death in Orlando, all their talk does nothing. Every few months the same pounding of chest and finger pointing occurs and a month or so later? Guess. No need you know it is coming. So long as paranoid people, other crazies, white supremacists, religious fanatics all still occupy our population, all they need to do is visit their local gun dealer to obtain weapons of great destruction. And so it goes. And come on people, hatred of LGBT people is posted every day online and is instigated by religious extremists of all faiths and even some without any.
Dear America. Gun Control Works. Please, Please Do It. Love, Australia.

"The current Australian gun laws were passed after 35 were killed and 23 wounded in a 1996 mass shooting in Port Arthur, Tasmania. The shooter was able to buy his assault rifle, even though later he was later determined by authorities to have an IQ of 11. There hasn't been a mass shooting in Australia since then." www.wow.com/article/M8miNA/10443780
This was a hate crime, that it had a religious nutcase is no different than our own religious nutcases that blow up buildings or kill doctors. But this is America folks, according to our congress, the NRA, presidential candidates galore, gun makers and a weird reading of the 2nd every nutcase has a right to be a mass murderer. It's written into the baloney that passes for thought in America, having a zillion guns keeps you safe, well it doesn't but that doesn't really matter. Any crazy hate filled person and / or mentally unstable crackpot has this right, didn't the SCOTUS say so? And folks Congress needs money to pad their pockets. and gun makers and the NRA provide it, along with the blessing of idiots in journalism. This is so simple folks, it comes with the freedom to be stupid. Consequences don't matter when you say freedom five times.
"In 1991, Warren E. Burger, the conservative chief justice of the Supreme Court, was interviewed on the MacNeil/Lehrer NewsHour about the meaning of the Second Amendment's "right to keep and bear arms." Burger answered that the Second Amendment "has been the subject of one of the greatest pieces of fraud--I repeat the word 'fraud'--on the American public by special interest groups that I have ever seen in my lifetime." In a speech in 1992, Burger declared that "the Second Amendment doesn't guarantee the right to have firearms at all. "In his view, the purpose of the Second Amendment was "to ensure that the 'state armies'--'the militia'--would be maintained for the defense of the state."
